These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Classly Eli platform operated by Classly Ltd ("Classly", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Classly Eli is an AI-powered platform that helps tutors generate lesson notes, homework, and progress reports, and helps students track their learning. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features of the service at any time.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a tutor account.
- One person may not maintain more than one account without our permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
- Share your account with others or resell access to the service.
- Submit false or misleading information about yourself or your students.
4. AI-generated content
The platform uses AI to generate lesson summaries, homework, recommendations, and other content. AI-generated content is produced automatically and may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sharing it with students. We are not liable for any errors in AI-generated output.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the lesson notes and materials you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the service (including passing it to our AI provider). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.
6. Student data
If you add students to your account, you are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate permission to do so. This includes obtaining consent from students or their guardians where required by applicable law. You must not add minors to the platform without appropriate parental or guardian consent.
7. Subscription and billing
Details of any paid features, pricing, and billing terms will be communicated clearly before any charge is made. Free features may be changed or removed at any time. We will give reasonable notice before discontinuing any paid feature.
8. Intellectual property
The Classly Eli platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Classly Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Classly Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage caused by AI-generated content.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or use the platform in a way that harms other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at team@classly.online.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
